Custom-made.

I understand that the jewellery you choose to wear is incredibly personal and makes a statement about you. That is what I aim to achieve for you.

The custom-made experience allows us to work closely together to create a unique piece for you, and may involve a couple of meetings. Normally the process starts with a discussion about what you would like made. We talk about the style, precious metals and gemstones which appeal to you, with my portfolio of designs on hand for inspiration. A new piece of jewellery can also be designed around your existing piece, perhaps a treasure you have inherited. We'll review your budget at this initial consultation.

For your next consultation, I can source a selection of quality gemstones for you to view in person. This gives you a variety of options to consider, and together we can refine the design further. Once you are happy with the design and wish to go ahead, a 50% deposit is required so that the making can commence. The balance is due on the day of collection.

The timeframe for completion of a custom-made piece of jewellery is approximately eight weeks, depending on the item's complexity. If you need your order sooner, we can discuss this to see if it is possible. Timeframes of completion are sometimes now longer due to continued ongoing delays with some of the manufacturing processes, which are out of my control.

I provide an independent valuation with each of my custom-made pieces, which you can then use for insurance purposes.

As I am a fellow member of The Gold and Silversmiths Guild of Australia, (member #147), your piece will be hallmarked with the kangaroo head mark, a letter mark representing the year, the appropriate precious metal marks, and my maker's mark, the SK pictured above.

I look forward to creating something special together!

All the jewellery is made in-house to order, so you are dealing directly with the craftsperson who will make your special piece for you.
